Ora che hai la tua base del cappotto, passiamo alle maniche!
Now, let’s focus on the sleeves!
3 – Sulla linea delle spalle segna la metà larghezza delle tue spalle ed evidenza il punto.
3 – On the shoulder line, measure the half part of your shoulders and mark it.
Le mie spalle sono, come ti dicevo, circa 41 cm. Ho segnato solo 20 cm poichè la lana con la quale ho creato il cappotto tende a cedere, quindi non ho avuto bisogno di fare la misura perfetta delle mie spalle.
My shoulders are 41 cm wide. I marked only 20 cm cause the wool I used was very loose so I didn’t need to be that precise with my shoulder measure.
Momento tecnica! Technical moment!
4 – Ora c’è il momento più importante: scegli la tua manica e la tua tasca.
4 – Now the most important part: choose your sleeve and pocket.
Cosa vuol dire scegli? Vuol dire che guardi fra i cartamodelli che hai a disposizione e con i quali hai già lavorato e cerchi una bella manica (io ho scelto una manica spezzata di un cappotto che avevo cucito tempo fa che mi sta proprio bene!) che ti calzi a pennello e con la quale ti trovi bene.
Why choose your sleeve and pocket? Because you should find between the patterns you have already used, a sleeve you feel comfortable in and copy it! My sleeve comes from a previous coat I did a few years ago and I feel really great it in!
Ora misura la circonferenza completa della manica che hai scelto e la segni o sulla manica stessa o su di un foglio che terrai vicino a te! Questa misura ti servirà nella prossima puntata del tutorial!
Measure now its circumference on a separate paper or on the sleeve itself and don’t forget that number! This measurement will be needed in the next chapter of the tutorial!
La tasca e la mostrina per la tasca puoi ricopiarle anch’esse da un modello che hai già utilizzato senza problemi!
You can copy the pocket and the tab pocket from a pattern you already used too!
