Ciao e bentornat*! Qualche tempo fa vi avevo chiesto una mano e ci siamo, l’abito Gucci è qui! A few weeks ago I asked your help and here we are, the Gucci dress is here!
Dopo qualche tempo di latitanza, torno con l’abito del mese, per il quale avevo chiesto il vostro aiuto qui. Sì, era in teoria a fiori, però come spesso succede, ho cambiato in corsa, innamorata da una foto e via, il vestito a fiori si è presto trasformato nell’abito di ispirazione Gucci!
After a few months away from the blog, I’m back with the dress of the month! I’ve asked for your help here and yeah, it was supposed to be a flowered theme dress but no. As you can see I changed my mind and a Gucci inspired dress came out!
Perchè ho cambiato? Perchè ho pensato che forse, forse, il fiore non avrebbe giovato a queste forme e, complice Pinterest sempre all’ascolto, mi è capitato sotto gli occhi un iconico abito Gucci che mi ha fatto innamorare!
Why did I change? I thought that maybe, MAYBE flowers would have not gave the best impression to this dress and you know, Pinterest is always by my side, so! A Gucci dress came into my feed and yes, I fell in love!
Sono quindi volata sul sito di Lafab Tessuti e niente, il più perfetto cotone viscosa verdone mi si è presentato sotto agli occhi: dovevo farlo assolutamente!
Once I saw the dress, I clicked right away on the LaFab Tessuti website and when the most perfect dark green cotton viscose appeared, I absolutely had to do it!
Un pò di tecnica! Let’s get technical!
La costruzione di questo abito parte dalla base del tubino e della manica semplice con tutte le modifiche del caso:
- corpetto con pinces di seno incrociato sul davanti;
- le maniche sono diventate a petalo aperto;
- fra il corpetto e la gonna, una cintura di 4 cm sovrastata dalla cintura applicata sopra;
- In vita una gonna svasata.
Construction wise, this dress starts from a sheat dress sloper and a one piece sleeve and all the changes are variations to the original pattern:
- Double crossed front bodice with bust darts;
- Sleeves became flared petal sleeves;
- Between bodice and skirt, a 4 cm belt that can be seen from the inside. On top of it there is sewn the red and blue belt;
- The skirt is an A line skirt.
Il dietro ha anche lui delle modifiche, meno importanti del davanti, ma comunque presenti:
- Due pinces di vita che sono rimaste invariate;
- la cintura come per il davanti alta 4 cm, coperta dalla cintura applicata sopra;
- la gonna svasata senza riprese come il davanti.
The back has a bit of changes too, even though they are a little less invasive than the front:
- Two bust darts that stayed as they were in the sloper;
- the 4 cm wide belt , that is covered by the red and blue belt applied on top of it;
- the A line skirt with no darts whatsoever.
L’interno del vestito ho cercato di renderlo “il più pulito possibile” creando una cintura da impunturare a quella già presente all’esterno e renderla impeccabile! Ho aggiunto inoltre una paramontura che rifinisce tutti i bordi del vestito e l’ho scelta nera, in contrasto, perchè mi sembrava molto chic!
I wanted the inside dress to look as “clean as possible” so I created an inside belt I sewed on top of the other: in this way, no seam allowances are insight! I added a a black facing on the inside, cause why not a chic contrast!
La cintura non l’ho trovata già fatta, ma l’ho confezionata prendendo due gros grain ed applicando il rosso sopra al blu!
Last but not least, I created the red and blue outside belt cause I couldn’t find an identical one and I really love it!
Parliamo del tessuto! A little talk about the fabric!
Il tessuto che ho scelto per questo vestito a portafoglio è un cotone viscosa verde kaki da 130 gr/mq2 che ha una bella mano morbida e sinuosa! E’ davvero una meraviglia da indossare!
The fabric I chose for this wrap dress is a kaki green cotton viscose of 130 gr/mq2 that has a very smooth and soft drape! It is a real cutie to wear!
