Boarding for Los Angeles, you comin’?
Happy New Year! In front of us, the unknown: no idea whatsoever on what this new year will bring, unknow is a way of life at the moment, so why not keep on sewing?
Start 2021 by sewing the hoodie Los Angeles, that you find for free here on the blog.
This hoodie comes from a very specific request from my girls: “Niko, what if you could create something relatively easy, kinda quick but with that little something extra? Could you do it for us?”
So, in between this and other requests, this right here came out: a hoodie, something sporty you can wear no matter where you are, at home or outside, doing sport or running some errands.
Sewing for yourself means you need to carefully select what you’re going to sew. If buying RTW is not your jam anymore, you better know (you’ll learn it, believe me) what you’re going to wear, so that nor your resources or time are wasted.
Usually, the sporty garments are not considered “beautiful” enough to be sewn.
Well, WRONG. They are practical, functional and they can too become what we desire, with a little help from some fabric. Fancy an example? You find here the blog post with a different hoodie that shows the fabric power perfectly!
Back to the Los Angeles hoodie! How does it works?
You can find the pattern HERE and you can download it in multiple Italian sizes, 38 to 50, all in one PDF pattern. You will also find a material sheet, where you have the fabric measurements, the size measurements, and the pieces by which the hoodie is formed.
